After almost 20 years, people are searching for her childhood movie role. Anna is now 30 years of age but she still thinks that she looks exactly the same now as she is looking in the movie, “My Girl”. Chlumsky loves acting but at the time she got admitted at the University of Chicago she left her acting behind. At that time she wanted to become a horse dentist or a paleontologist.

After finishing her education, she worked in many places like she was a fact-checker of the Zagat restaurant guide, after that she worked as an editorial assistant at HarperCollins. Anna was not happy with her job and finally she went a psychologist who told her that she (Anna) still wants to be an actress.

Anna is now a wonderful actress now and she has worked with many films including "Law & Order" and she played some fine role in the movie "In the Loop." Chlumsky can currently be seen in the Off-Broadway play "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" by Nora Ephron.
