Another casting couch in Bollywood

It seems that it's all fake when Bollywood celebrities on reality shows say that they are looking for real talent. In a shocking incident, a struggling young girl was raped by a director in suburban Versova.

THE GIMMICK associated with Bollywood, has attracted thousands of boys and girls across the country to try their luck in Mumbai, which has given name and fame to many persons who hailed from mediocre backgrounds. Some of these include our own Amitabh Bacchan, Mithun Chakravorthy, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Do you know what is common in all these stars- they all are from mediocre background but endeavored for big things in life and they did it with flying colours.

But Bollywood is not that lucky for all; it is believed that one has to pay the price to get an opportunity in movies be it in direction or acting. The industry, according to insiders is not very safe for females, particularly those who don’t have any relative or god father in the industry. Some of the unfortunate girls have been exploited sexually in lieu of role in movies. Such incidents are mostly not reported as the victim had to think about her family’s dignity.

In yet another such incident, a struggling young girl had been raped by a director in a sub-urban-Versova in Mumbai. The victim showed immense courage and reported the incident to the police- the police reacted hastily and have arrested the director-Ramkumar Kumawat who has no big film or hit in his name, he has been involved in some film of unknown small banners. According to a police official involved in the investigation of the ghastly act of rape, “The director Ramkumar Kumawat had taken the audition of the girl some time back and asked her to visit her office to discuss some role for his film on Sunday (July 26), the victim reached his office and he raped her there and threatened her not to disclose any thing to anybody.”
