Another jolt for Pak team as ICC stops Wahab Riaz from playing
International Cricket Council (ICC) has prevented Wahab Riaz (fast bowler) from playing in the second ODI against England. This is another jolt for Pakistan Cricket team, which is playing a ODI series against England on their soil.
THE PAKISTAN cricket team is passing its worst epoch during the tour of England. Another jolt for the Pakistani team came when it became clear that another team member, fast bowler Wahab Riaz would be investigated by Scotland Yard Police on September 14.
 
International Cricket Council (ICC) has prevented Wahab Riaz (fast bowler) from playing in the second ODI against England. This is another jolt for Pakistan Cricket team, which is playing a ODI series against England on their soil.
 
Pakistan Cricket team remained in news for bad performance during the last year but it seems that tour of England will prove to be the most dreadful as three of its top players have been accused of spot-Fixing and another player is set to be investigated by Scotland Yard police.
 
On Saturday, three suspended players Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Amir returned home for the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitar with their family member after Metropolitan Police permission on the assurance of Government of Pakistan that they would be available to British police for further investigation if needed in near future.
 
A British tabloid had published the news alleging that Pakistan players Salman Butt, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Asif were involved in spot-fixing while fourth player was also mentioned  without name.
 
After the ICC decision of stopping Wahab Riaz from playing the ODI, the difficulties for Pakistan Cricket team have increased further in England. Sources said that now Scotland Yard has expressed its doubts over the remaining players of the team and names of some former cricketers are also being heard in connection with match fixing.
