Micro Technologies India Ltd has invented an anti-theft security device for cars called Micro VBB navigator, which prevents stealing. Moreover the car can be accessed from anywhere across the globe through web interface system.
DEMAND FOR cars is rising for the common man as well as for the burglars. Vehicle theft is of high concern now and as a solution to this issue, Micro Technologies India Ltd has invented an anti-theft security device called Micro Vehicle Black Box (VBB) navigator, a Global System for Mobile (GSM)-based anti-theft security and navigation system. It does not only help preventing but also keeps a tab on stolen cars. This rectangular shaped security device can be attached into any part of the vehicle and the car can be accessed from anywhere across the globe through web interface system.
In case of illegal access to the car, the devices use the technology to alert users mobile through Short Message Service (SMS). VBB is also enhanced with other external peripherals and sensors, connected within the vehicle’s system, controlling the vehicle. The ignition and door movements are also controlled by the device.
The alert message can be also set up simultaneously to two users, but the control device will be restricted to the owners only. The Global Positioning System (GPS) device is installed with a sensor for monitoring the locality of the vehicle. The device is also equipped with other features.
The car can be locked and unlocked through SMS; one can even check system status globally via SMS and it also offers a two-way voice communication, SOS message, and car audio Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) removal alert. The device also takes care in case of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network failure and other technical issues.
