APCSU seeks clarification from CRF over a 'false statement'
Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Union (APCSU), reacting to a news report titled 'CRF dissatisfied with the claim of gaining citizenship by the Chakma Students' Union' carried by the Arunachal Pioneer, termed the claim of Changlang Redressal Forum as 'baseless and false.'

In a press release, the CRF on Wednesday had strongly condemned the open declaration made by the President of Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Student Union, Ranjan Chakma of obtaining Arunachalee citizenship at the end of this month.

APCSU while strongly reacting to the statement of CRF clarified that APCSU President Ranjan Kumar Chakma has never issued such statement as claimed by the CRF. APCSU urged the CRF to clarify the source of the statement.

Further, APCSU urged the CRF to refrain from making official statement on the basis of imagination and rumour. Such false and baseless statement has the tendency to create confusion and division amongst communities.

APCSU was formed in 1991 for the development and welfare of the Chakma students of Arunachal Pradesh studying in various parts of the country.
