He said that weak-kneed policies of the UPA Government towards Pakistan and soft and friendly approach of the Jammu and Kashmir's Nnational Conference-Congress coalition government towards anti-national elements have been encouraging the fundamentalists and terrorists. He urged the Central government to stop all talks with Pakistan till it stops aiding and abetting terrorism across the borders and till Pak maintains ceasefire on borders.
Mahajan further demanded enhancement of security at all the religious places (Temples, Mosques, Churches and Gurudwaras) in the state in view of terrorist attacks as they can strike any of the religious place to foment trouble among the communities.
