Apple Aperture 3 launched, all details, free download
Apple Aperture 3 - brand new camera software with GPS and Face-Finding features which was launched by the stalwart on Tuesday. A free 30-day trial of Aperture 3 can be downloaded from the Apple website

AN “APPLE to Apple comparison” stands void in case of Apple. Why? Because there is nobody in this world to match what Apple offers every now and then!

This time, it’s the Apple Aperture 3 – brand new camera software with GPS and Face-Finding features which was launched by the stalwart on Tuesday. A free 30-day trial of Aperture 3 can be downloaded from the Apple website (type aperture trial).

The photograph-editing software launched on Feb 9 is being seen as an answer to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. It is as much useful for professional photographers as it is for iPhoto users.

You can create multimedia-intensive slideshows for corporate presentations, integrate video, music and other elements into a photo-montage.
Here’s more:

What is Aperture?
You’ve taken a great shot. Now you’re ready to make it even better. Aperture 3 gives you all the tools you need to turn your photography into so much more.

Import images:  You can preview and adjust images while they are importing. While the files are importing, Aperture 3 grabs data like shutter speed, aperture, lens, and focus points and starts sorting it right away. It lets you store images wherever and however you like — directly in Aperture 3, on external drives, or in their original folders.

Organize your images: Organize your photos easily with faces or places or by object. Just like iPhoto ’09, Aperture 3 helps use face detection technology to find faces in your photos. Once you identify a person, Faces quickly scans your library, or an individual project, to find more photos of that person.

Organize images by Places. There’s no easier way to organize photos than with Places. When browsing your photos, just click the location pin on the map and all the photos shot there are instantly displayed.

Compare and Select Images: You can use color labels and flags to select images in the full screen browser. This helps you use every inch of your Apple display to make selects and compare images side by side.

Enhance Image Quality: You can retouch and enhance photos using powerful adjustment presets and brushes.
