Apple has started to take pre-orders for both the Wi-Fi and 3G models of iPad from Friday morning. Initially customers can purchase maximum limit of two iPads.

APPLE HAS started to take pre-orders for both the Wi-Fi and 3G models of iPad from Friday morning. Apple's iPad tablet the new touch-screen gadget has the features including reading books, watching video and surfing the Web, etc. Cupertino company begins taking pre-orders for both the Wi-Fi and 3G models of Apple iPad. Initially customers can purchase maximum limit of two iPads.

Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs introduced the most newsy gadget, iPad on January 27 during a press conference. The Wi-Fi versions of iPad will start from April 3 and the 3G versions become available toward the end of the April. Customers who pre-order can either have the iPad shipped to them or they can pick it up at an Apple store. Shipping is of the gadget is absolutely free.

Wi-Fi models of Apple's brand new gadget iPad is $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB and the 3G models price is $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, $829 for 64GB.
