Apple iPhone 4, which was first launched in the US in June, 2010, was launched in India today. This smartphone will be available in two colours, black and white, and in 16 GB and 32 GB capacity.
AFTER A long wait of 11 months, Apple iPhone 4 has finally hit the Indian markets on today May 27. Apple had launched one of the most popular smartphones iPhone 4 in the US and the other parts of the world in June 2010.

India's biggest private sector telecom company Bharti Airtel and another leading telecom company Aircel have launched Apple iPhone 4 in the country. India is the world’s second biggest market for mobile phones after China.
The postpaid and prepaid customers of both the mobile companies, Airtel and Aircel, can purchase iPhone 4 with 16-GB capacity at Rs 34,500 and with 32-GB capacity at Rs 40,900 in white or black colour models.
The Apple iPhone 4 has a 3.5 inch screen with 640 x 960 pixels resolution known as the Retina display. The handset is powered by Apple's A4 (operating system), which offers features such as multitasking, spell check, folders, and iBooks.
Apple iPhone 4 has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and HD video recording. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI and GPS. One thing that is attractive enough to woo users is a better battery life. It's battery supports seven hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of WiFi browsing, 40 hours of music playback, six hours of 3G browsing and 10 hours of video.
India is the world's second-largest mobile phone market with more than 810 million subscribers in the country. Bharti Airtel, who has more than 164 million subscribers, is India's largest mobile phone operator, whereas Aircel has nearly 56 million users.
