Apple Tablet to be priced $700? All details

Apple tablet is rumoured to be launched next Wednesday, January 27. It will be called the iSlate, iTablet or iPad and will be priced more than $700. Apple is in talks with AT & T and Verizon.

The much talked about Apple tablet is rumoured to be launched next Wednesday, January 27. The whole net is buzzing with speculations about how the new apple tablet will look like, what will be its specifications and what would be the price of Apple tablet. Apple has sent out a statement urging media to “come and see our latest creation” at an event in San Franciso.
 
It is believed that the new apple tablet will sport a 10 inch colour screen and will operate much the same way as the iPhone. It will be called the iSlate, iTablet or iPad and will be priced more than $700.
 
One more rumour is that the reason for The New York’s decision to start charging for access to its online content in 2011 is a part of a partnership with Apple as it will have newspaper’s stories available on the Apple tablet through an itunes like distribution.
 
It is also rumoured that Apple is in talks with AT & T and Verizon on a deal that would connect the tablet to their wireless networks.
 
Lastly, it is also said that google is also working on a deal with HTC to compete the apple tablet.
