Applying for power connections in Gurgaon made simpler
Applying for power connections have been made easy in Gurgaon by Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) as the residents are no longer required to submit their documents online for verification as it would be done by the concerned person during the time of connection. This would make the process simpler and hassle free for the residents of Gurgaon.
Prior to this decision, those interested in applying for power connections had to submit their ID proof online, by uploading on the site as well, which also led to problems from time to time. One also has to remember that not all are well briefed with the Internet to make their work easier. Some complaints were also registered due to the technical glitch that occurred while uploading it.

"Consumers now need to only fill the details online and submit the form and officials from the respective sub-divisional office will contact them for verification of the relevant documents in person," , said Arun Kumar Verma, the managing director of power discom DHBVN, reported The Times of India. This process will not only speed up the process, but also save time for residents.

Now with such process started by the concerned authority, there are very few chances that the submitted forms may get cancelled or something. It has been said that the process of verification may take around a week, which are definitely good signs of things to come in the future.
