AR Rahman becomes CNN IBN Indian of the year
MUSIC MAESTRO AR Rahman has been annouced as the Indian of the Year by CNN-IBN and will receive the award at the Hotel Taj Palace on Monday, Dec 21. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will attend the event.
MUSIC MAESTRO AR Rahman has been annouced as the Indian of the Year by CNN-IBN and will receive the award at the Hotel Taj Palace on Monday, Dec 21. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will attend the event. He would be heading to Doha, to perform at the Aspire Dome on January 8. He will then go to Sydney for a performance at the Parramatta Park in Sydney on January 16. He will then be heard at the Police Stadium in Muscat, Oman on December 31. Baz Luhrman has only praises for Rahman. He said, "Whatever the style, AR Rahman's music always possesses a profound sense of humanity and spirit," he said.
