THE GOVERNMENT High School, Sarunda in Bhaderwah area celebrated it’s Annual Day under the aegis of 4 RR located at Sarunda. A large number of locals gathered to attend the function which included senior citizens and civil officials. Bhaderwah is a mountain town in Jammu's Doda district.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Riaz Zaeyal, Sarpanch of Sarunda. The Company Commander was invited to the function as Chief Guest. The students of the school prided themselves as they enthusiastically participated in the celebrations. The most attractive event of the occasion was the cultural programme by the boys and girls of Govt High School, Sarunda. The students and local population enjoyed the event. Arvind Kumar, a teacher of the school, thanked the Army for this noble initiative.

The event concluded when Sanjeet Kumar, Headmaster of the school, distributed prizes to the participants of cultural programme and other educational activities who were namely Miss Kusoo Thakur class fifth, Miss Ashiu Devi class fifth and Miss Saloni Kalayani class fourth. The contribution of the Army towards such events was appreciated by the teachers, students and local populace.
