Army organizes mini pension adalat and medical camp in Ferozepur
In continuity of efforts to reach out to its valiant ex-servicemen, retired army personnel and dependents, Indian Army, under the aegis of 'Golden Arrow Division' planned and organized a mini Pension Adalat today at Ferozepur for ex-servicemen of Ferozepur, Moga and Muktsar districts. General Officer Commanding Golden Arrow Division addressed the veterans.

Representatives of Principal Controller of Defence Account (Pension), Allahabad and Meerut, Chief Manager of SBI and PNB and representatives of various Record Offices attended the Pension Adalat to guide and resolve issues pertaining to pension of Army personnel and dependents.

Naresh Vig, PRO (Defence) though his email stated that along with 'Pension Adalat', a mini medical camp was also organized for the health care and treatment of ex-servicemen and their dependents which included the presence of Medical, Dental and Eye specialists. Approx 300 ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and widows attended the event and their grievances were redressed.

This initiative of Golden Arrow Division was very well received and appreciated by all the veterans. General Officer Commanding expressed his gratitude to all Ex-servicemen and assured many more such events in future.
