The ROC for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh had filed a criminal case against them under several sections as the team did not share the balance sheet.
A LOCAL COURT in Chandigarh has issued bailable arrest warrants against Kings XI Punjab team owners and actress Preity Zinta, industrialists Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman as they failed to submit the balance sheet and the details of the profit and loss incurred by their team, Kings XI Punjab.
The warrants were issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate J S Sidhu as none of the accused or their counsels appeared in the court as per the complaint filed by the Registrar of Companies (ROC) here in Chandigarh. However, one of the other co-accused Karan Paul had sent his counsel and the court was assured that Paul would appear on the next hearing date. Now the hearing of the case has been postponed to October 4.

The case was revised by Judge Sidhu who had earlier sent them a legal notice.The company which was incorporated in 2008 was supposed to file an annual return within 60 days form the day it held their Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM was held in September 2009 but the company did not file any return.
