AC Milan put up an impressive display to thrash Arsenal 4-0, in the Champions League match at San Siro. Hence, they have made it very difficult for Arsenal to progress into the next round of the competition.
WHEN TWO teams of repute and quality, Arsenal and AC Milan, play in a Champions League match; much is expected from both the teams. It is supposed to be a tough clash between the two. But it was not to be as Milan thrashed Arsenal 4-0 to embarrass the gunners at San Siro, last night.

It was a game that was completely dominated by the home team. Arsenal looked out of place. The first goal was scored by Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 15th minute. Later on, Robinho also showed his class by scoring two goals past the Arsenal’s goalie. The fourth goal was scored by their prolific striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, reported AP. The victory could not have been any sweeter, as this clash between the two giants of European football was anticipated to be the match to watch out for, which could have gone either way. Arsenal disappointed their fans around the world.
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger was also very upset in the manner his team was defeated. Wenger said it was shocking to see that his team was beaten everywhere. He also considers it to be their worst game in Europe by far and also considers the result to be a disaster, reported AP. Indeed, it was a shame for the Arsenal football club last night, as we hardly hear the great club being thrashed in such a manner.
The club is not enjoying a good run in the EPL, and looks down and out of the Champions League, even before they play the return leg at Emirates on March 6, where they have to defeat AC Milan by more than 5 goals to progress into the next round. It is a kind of mission impossible after such a performance. So, the road seems to be clear for Milan to progress into the next round. Only God can save Arsenal.
