Though, I will suggest Arvind Kejriwal not to resign at any moment, but should also attempt for BJP support in passing some of public interest laws. I think Kiran Bedi would be very helpful in such case. Arvind bite the bullet very courageously but doing public good being a government is not so easy as more than activism, here intelligent positioning is required. Congress created a trap but can be over come from this trap by getting support of enemy’s enemy.
I always think Kiran Bedi’s idea was good to make combined government by AAP & BJP for public interest! Anyway I am sure Congress has to support the AAP for at least two years, but equally sure that Congress will create much hurdles in functioning of the government.
Here it may be noted that unlike other states, for Delhi the provision of Presidential rule is for one year (not six months) which can be extended to another two years after completion of 1st year. The provision of clause 356 is not applicable for Delhi as it doesn’t enjoy full state status. If in some design there would one year or 3 year Presidential rule, it would be unfortunate for Delhi.
Now as the evil design of Congress to harm AAP government is exposed, I think Narendra Modi should be ready to bail out AAP government in case of distress as such graceful public interest work always appreciated by people. AAP government’s functioning without problem is really a need of the hour & whosoever helps this minority government functioning definitely get public pat.
