Arvind Kejriwal blames Narendra Modi and Delhi police for the rape of two minors in Delhi
As Delhi continues to be tagged as the rape capital of India, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal yet again blamed the centre on Saturday after two minor girls were raped in the Capital. This incident comes just days after a five-year old was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted in Delhi, and is still recuperating in a hospital.

Two minor girls, aged five and two were gang raped in West and East Delhi respectively. In the first incident, a two and a half year old was abducted in Ranhola on Friday by two bike-borne men, who used power outage as cover to carry out the abduction. The girl who was playing with her grandmother ventured onto the main road, where she was abducted. Although the abduction was caught on CCTV, the footage had been of no use to the police so far.

The residents heard the cries of the child as they had gathered for a ramleela event. The grandmother too cried for help, but the abductors managed to escape with the girl, who waslater found in a nearby park, bleeding profusely.

In another incident of Friday evening, three men in an inebriated state raped a five-year old girl in Anand Vihar area of east Delhi. The accused were neighbours of the victim's family and managed to lure her to the second floor of the same building. The victim's parents, both labourers, were not at home. The victim's aunt alerted the neignbours after hearing the girl's cries. The accused tried to escape but were caught and beaten by the locals and later handed over to the police.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who visited the victim's parents took no time to put the entire blame as usual on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Delhi police.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the Delhi police had once again failed to provide security to women in Delhi and demanded that Delhi police be brought under his control. He said, "If the PM wants to have Delhi police under his control, he has to be answerable. I request the PM to take some time out and meet the LG and find out ways to deal with crime against women in Delhi."

He also added that the centre had only one job of interfering in Delhi government's day-to-day working.
