Arvind Kejriwal justified in restoring disconnected electric connections
Political rulers have no moral right to oppose Arvind Kejriwal's movement to restore electricity connections of aam admi or common citizens. The connections were disconnected by electricity distribution companies because of non-payment of electricity bills many of which were highly inflated.

AN RTI response, a copy of which this citizen journalist has, reveals that electricity bills worth Rs. 6.27 crores from New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) stand unpaid in the name of existing and former parliamentarians. There are 'directives' that electricity, water and telephone connections may not be disconnected of these 'khaas' people for non-payment that too despite the fact that these modern days’ maharajas/maharaanis are privileged to get large number of free units of electricity.

Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit and others concerned should first order instant disconnection of electricity for outstanding of even a single rupee towards Parliamentarians apart from announcing stringent measures to recover such huge outstanding amounts from such so-termed people’s representatives and their legal heirs having enjoyed wealth earned out of politics by deceased Parliamentarians.

Disconnection of electricity and other connections for non-payment of bills by aam admi should be stopped for such time by the authorities themselves. A copy of this e-mail is also being forwarded to Delhi Police as a formal complaint against concerned ones including defaulting former and existing Parliamentarians, and those responsible in system for not taking action for instant disconnection of such services for non-payment of bills by former and present Parliamentarians.
