The future of India with particular reference of Assam is become a part and parcel of our country. We at Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samithi (BGVS), All India People Science Network (AIPSN) forum and like minded people should think seriously in this regard
YESTERDAY’S HAPPENING is a tragedy in the history of Assam. Such things never happened in Assam except during the Burmese invasion of Assam before 1826. The famous novel "Monomati" written by Late Rajanikanta Bordoloi give us a vivid picture of such a situation. The Hindi version of "Monomati" is also available at Gyan Vigyan Samity Assam (GVSA). I could not sleep last night dreaming of the future of India with particular reference of Assam. Such a situation is become a part and parcel of our country. We at Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samithi (BGVS), All India People Science Network (AIPSN) forum and like minded people should think seriously in this regard, because it is our country. We must stand united to save our country from foreign powers. Recently our country was sold in the name of development.
Yes, we need development of our country. But we cannot accept the present method adopted for development. People of our country should be involved in the planning process. People should be trusted. People should be allowed to take decisions and implement it through peoples’ participation.
I feel we should demand that the state and Central government to
i) Protect our people both economically and socially.
ii) Stop killing people in the name of encounters (Mumbai, Nalbari (Assam) and various parts of northeastern (NE) states).
iii) Stop using the Armed Forces Special Powers Act. iv) Stop using our defense forces in internal security. This actually lowers the moral of our forces. v) Involve people in the development process
vi) Bring more transparency to all activities. vii) Seal our borders immediately. viii) Distribute illegal foreigners settled in NE throughout the country. ix) Educate all people (children and adult) of our country. x) Reduce the economic gap of "BHARAT" and "INDIA".
