Asha Hooda collects bribes on behalf of government: Sunita Kataria
Sunita Kataria has alleged that the wife of chief minister of Haryana is herself involved in corrupt practices. Ms Kataria was reacting to her statement in which Ms Asha has said that her 'head hangs in shame after hearing about the heinous crimes against women when this state is being a front runner in many areas of development'.

TAKING A dig at Asha Hooda, wife of Haryana chief minister, a local MCG councillor has alleged that 'she (Ms Asha) is like a bribe-collector, acting on behalf of her husband's government'.

"From where does she get time to feel ashamed for these crimes. She herself is too busy is collecting bribes from all government departments," Sunita Kataria told this citizen journalist .

Ms Asha had earlier said that her 'head hangs in shame after hearing about the heinous crimes against women when this state is being a frontrunner in many areas of development'.

Ms Kataria said that by just expressing one's opinions will not change anything in this state. "Just expressing grief and showing worries will not reduce crimes in Haryara; until and unless we take practical steps to stop them, nothing will change," Ms Kataria added.

She blames lack of education among youths for the rising crimes and rapes in the state."In our state the main problem lies in lack of education and here girls are more educated than boys and working at good places. And unfortunately boys in Haryana aren't educated and sit idle at home, due to which they commit all these heinous crimes," Ms Kataria said.

Presence of alcohol shops at every corner in Haryana, is another reason for increasing crime rate in the state, according to the councillor. “Youth under the influence of alcohol commit crimes and the worst part is that women can't file their complaints as policemen also drink during the night, despite being on duty,” Ms Kataria alleged.

"If any women has a fight with her husband in middle of the night then she can not go to police as they themselves are under the influence of alcohol. They are themselves "Darubazz", Ms Kataria said in anger.
