Assam: AGP-BJP members join Congress in large numbers
Akon Bora, who attended the function as the chief guest, in his speech, warmly welcomed the newly joined members. He told that people have now understood that the Congress is the party, which always thinks for people and common man.
THE ASOM Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) received a setback when 1500 workers of Nagaon district joined congress on Sunday, at the open meeting “Gana Samabesh” held at Deodhar in Nagaon district of Assam, organized by Pakhimoria Block congress. Chamua, while addressing the people said that the development of Assam is only possible under Congress government. “Congress works for common people”, he added. Moreover, he told that Tarun Gogoi led government has been always working for the betterment of common people. He told that people have now understood that the Congress is the party, which always think for the people and common man and it is due to the development work that people from across political parties are coming to join it.
