Assembly elections in Haryana starts EVM training in Gurgaon
With the Assembly election in Haryana around the corner, the administration has started the preparations for the upcoming election. Therefore on Friday afternoon, the training for operating Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was organized by the administration at the meeting hall of Mini Secretariat in Gurgaon. More than 100 people took the training.
This time the administration seems to be very sensitive with the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana, which are scheduled on October 27, 2014. That is why on Friday in the afternoon, training for operating the EVM was organized by the district administration. Pawan Kumar from Industrial Training Institute located in Mehrauli, New Delhi was called upon to impart the training to the people.

Initially, Pawan Kumar taught how to start and connect all the parts of the machine. He taught the people about opening, sealing and operating the voting machine. He said that sometimes the machine is in error mode, then follow the taught instructions and can take the help of other colleagues.

On this occasion more than 100 people, including women, participated in this training. People also showed a great interest. Therefore, during the training, all people had maintained a good discipline till the training got over. Most of the people present in the meeting hall of Mini Secretariat were from all age groups. They were also from different profession fields like JBT teachers, clerks etc. This was an orally training. But some people got a chance to demonstrate the voting machine. All people were very happy.
