Athletes look for condoms, not medals during Olympic Games
An unnamed author has revealed in his book, 'The Secret Olympics' that 70, 000 condoms were used during 2008 Sydney Games in the Olympics Village and 100, 000 during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. How many condoms are required for London Games, one may ask?

THERE ARE more condoms in the offering than Olympic medals during the Olympics. 70, 000 condoms were supplied during the 2008 Sydney Games in the Olympics Village during the Games. It increased to 100,000 condoms during the Vancouver Winter Olympics, 2010, which was not said to be sufficient. This stat has been provided in a book titled, The Secret Olympics, where the author is unnamed.

If this is the situation, the million dollar question, which comes to the fore, is how many condoms would be supplied during the upcoming London Olympics. The much anticipated London Games are scheduled to start from 27 July to 12 August, where athletes are going to fight it out for medals. That is what everyone thinks Olympics to be, but the book has revealed the dark secrets, where the villages are also considered to be a hotbed for sex.

With the author revealing about the night wild parties that take place in the Olympic Village, it should not be a huge surprise, if some athletes are lost from the party and are found in cosying up inside the rooms. The anonymous author has stated that it is very easy for the alcohol and drugs to enter into the village, in spite of it being banned as per the official Olympic regulations, reports policymic.com.

It is inside the Olympic villages where people from different countries mix and gel with one another. Some may fall in love with one another, while some may bed some athletes. These athletes will be in prime fitness to last for longer hours in bed. But, they have to be careful as their main focus lies on an Olympic medal. There are no awards for a lustful night with athletes from other countries.

It would not be surprising if there is more demand for condoms during the Olympic Games, as the weather during the games is expected to be cold. It might rain as well, which would give these athletes a solid reason to be locked indoors. If the Beijing Games witnessed a supply of 70, 000 condoms, we should not be surprised if the demands of the London Games double up.

So with such declaration, will the Olympic authorities look into matter and put a serious check upon it? Still, they would not be able to bet that such things will not happen during the London Olympics.
