In a move to compete against rival Verizon, AT&T has introduced a host of unlimited talk and sms plans for the customers on all its devices for both its feature phone and smartphone users, including the iPhone.
LOCKING HORNS with rival cellular service provider Vericzon, AT&T has introduced a host of new plans for the customers on all its devices. The move benefits both AT&T feature phone and smartphone users, including the iPhone, as a number of unlimited plans have been introduced by the cellular czar AT&T.
While feature phone users can opt for unlimited talk plans for a monthly tariff of $69.99, unlimited text plan will cost them $20 a month. There are also plans for family use, the basic monthly cost of which will be $119.99 for twin lines, apart from the $30 Family Talk plan for texting. These plans and rates also apply to Quick Messaging Device users of AT&T.
The unlimited talk plan for smartphone users will cost $99.99 a month. The charges include data surfing as well. For families, the Family Talk plans for smartphones is priced at $179.99 for twin lines. Note that it also covers iPhone users. For smarthone users, the cost of the unlimited sms plan remains the same at $20 for individuals and $30 for Family Talk Plans. AT&T will also offer unlimited calling plans where one can make calls to up to 10 domestic phone lines for a fixed amount. The AT&T rollover plan will remain in place for those who do not wish to avail the unlimited plans.
