Autism Awareness campaign by Gurgaon School included tap dance and hip hop
To highlight the existence of natural diversities in mankind and to sensitize the Gen Now towards the medical condition of Autism Spectrum Disorders, an Autism Awareness Campaign was organized at Scottish High International School by the Department of Integrated Studies under the guidance of the School Chairman Mr. Kartikay Saini.

 The Special Education Needs {SEN} students showcased their multifarious skills and talents in front of a spellbound audience. They performed a tap dance, lyrical hip hop dance and contemporary dance on the occasion.
An instrumental music rendition of the xylophone by Atharva infused melody all around. The international golfing champion of the School Ranveer mesmerized all by identifying the exact day of any date years ahead with his extreme focus and amazing concentration.
Three golf stars Ranveer of Scottish High, Kushagra Gaur of Vasant Valley School who is also a budding musician and drummer  and Ankush Saha from Bangalore were felicitated as they will represent India at the forthcoming Asia Pacific Golf Masters Tournament in Macau which is indeed a matter of great honour and a special feat by the SEN Champions. An exhibition of the scholastic and co- scholastic pursuits of the SEN students as well as the culinary delights prepared by them was also put up to display their accomplishments.
The School Chairman Mr. Kartikay Saini is also the Research & Development Head of the Autism Research Centre, India and he conducted an invigorating and inspirational workshop for the students of Scottish High to bring out the special abilities and rare acumen of the children with differentiated learning needs to instill the value of acceptance and the quality of assimilation amongst the students. The School has been conducting such social awareness campaigns for several years and its members have resolved to continue ‘the unifying hearts and minds’ initiatives purposefully and with sincerity.
