ON THE fourth day at Lord's Cricket Ground in London in the first test match between Australia and Pakistan, Kangaroos defeated Pak team by 150 runs. On day, four the Australian bowlers clinched nine Pakistani wickets just for 175 runs. Pakistan Cricket team Captain Shahid Afridi announced his retirement from Test Cricket after Headingly test which is scheduled to be from Jul 21-25.

At the lunch of the fourth day Pakistan were 216 for the loss of 4 wickets. Umar Akmal was the fourth man who back to the pavilion on day 4. He was out for 22 runs. Next two victims were Umar Amin and Captain Shahid Afridi. They were out for 33 and 2 runs respectively.
Wicket Keeper batsman Kamran Akmal resisted the Australian attack for sometime and scored 46 runs. Danish Kaneria was the last man who left ground as the Kangaroos erupted in victory celebration in the first test match between Australia and Pakistan at Lord's Cricket Ground in London on day 4. Australian Right-arm off break bowler Marcus North bagged 6 wickets in the second innings of Pakistan. It was his best bowling figure in Test Cricket.
Australian and Pakistani openers Simon Katich and Salman Butt were jointly declared Man-of-the-Match in the first test match between Australia and Pakistan at Lord's.
