Australian athlete decides to ruin health by eating nothing but McDonald's after Olympic loss
These days everyone seems to be in contention for an Olympic medal. Athletes prepare and train hard for years to get a chance of qualifying for the Olympics and winning a medal for their country. But, what happens if an athlete loses? He has to wait for another four years for his next chance.

Now, that's heartbreaking for many players. It's a painful experience that no athlete likes to talk about. This particular athlete from the Australian Badminton team reacted in the most awkward manner at his Olympics loss and even posted his reaction on social media for all to see.

Sawan Serasinghe, after competing twice in this year's Olympics at Rio, walked away empty handed. Disappointed, he decided to say goodbye to his training and diet. After months of `eating clean' he went on an extravagant McDonald's feast totalling 8,000 calories.

The Australian badminton player posted a picture of his McDonald's meal on Facebook and wrote: "Wow what a week it has been at Rio! Have to say I am disappointed about the match today."

Serasinghe ordered tons of chicken nuggets, fries, Big Macs and a lot of other heart attack-inducing stuff that McDonald's is famous or infamous for serving. He claims to have finished the entire meal all by himself in no time. It's surprising what kind of effect sorrow can have on a person's hunger.
