Satania 6 Films, in association with Dark Star Records, launched the Ultimate Band Contest a few months ago looking for three artists whose music will be in the movie and on the soundtrack to Jezebeth. Dark Star Records have had hundreds of submissions from all genres of rock and metal artists pouring in across the nation. The contest was sponsored by Sonicbids, the undisputed leaders in Electronic Press Kits for musicians worldwide. Using Sonicbids made it easy to go through hundreds of EPK’s to search for the best signed and unsigned artists from all genres of popular music.

Michelle Coutois, Watts’ manager and president of Papillon Entertainment Group, Inc (Los Angeles) had contacted us with Watts’ Mp3’s on the very last day of the contest after hearing about the movie via music industry associates. After listening to his music, Avery Watts was a sure fire winner. We immediately contacted Coutois, head of the management team and had her officially submit the single via Sonicbids to make it official! Watt’s single, “Our World” is an apocalyptic, metal-rap anthem with a vicious sound, a perfect compliment to the film. Watts, who stands 6’ 5”, has not only rock and roll looks but also a commercial presence that has landed him several covers and magazine spreads in industry magazines. He also delivers unparalleled rock star qualities; singer, songwriter, composer, mixer, master and multi talented musician, he puts on an epic show and rocks crowds of stadium proportions. Dropping unheard-of beats and ripping rock riffs, he also weaves positive and heavy messages that move the soul. Watts and team are pleased to contribute to the soundtrack.

Blowing up on the scene in LA, Watts and his management team are working on a 4-page shoot and interview in Exotic Magazine as a recipient of the award for “Hot new rock artist of 2009.” They are proud to endorse Jezebeth in the article. Looking 'rock and roll' ready, they will be working with Gun’s and Roses ex-drummer, Matt Sorum, owner of “Sorum Noce” on Melrose. The interview and feature will hit the stands this summer. Set to shoot in Los Angeles in June, they are kicking up the heat and working with Sorum and season five winner of Heidi Klum’s “Project Runway”, Jerell Scott.
