Azad for early completion of super-speciality hospital
Azad said that strengthening of the health infrastructure in the state is one of the priorities of his ministry. He appreciated the state government for taking keen interest in developing the health infrastructure on modern lines.

THE UNION Minister for Health and Medical Education, Ghulam Nabi Azad along with Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma visited the construction site of the Super-Specialty Hospital in Jammu on November 5. They inspected various works under execution on this prestigious project and said that the Centre has sanctioned Rs 240 crore for super-specialties in Jammu and Srinagar.
 
Azad said that strengthening of the health infrastructure in the state is one of the priorities of his Ministry. He appreciated the state government taking keen interest in developing the health infrastructure on modern lines. He assured that funds will not be a problem for expansion of healthcare facilities throughout the state.
 
He said he will fully support the state government in implementation of various programmes under the NRHM. He also visited the emergency unit of the Government Medical College, Jammu and the new block of Gandhinagar Hospital.
 
He was apprised that the blocks are complete in all respect and ready for commissioning. He also interacted with the doctors and assured providing additional staff at the earliest. He exhorted the authorities to make these blocks operational at the earliest for the benefit of the general masses.
