Ba bahu hai purana; ab baby ka hai zamaana
With a mega hit of a social topic i.e. promoting the role of the girl child in our society, many T.V. channels are into business. With a hit show ‘Balika Vadhu’ the T.V. channel ‘Colors’ has bagged sizeable TRP.
NOW WHEN every channel is following suit and selling the ‘Saas- Bahu saga’, some bright minds thought of commercializing the ‘Beti Saga’. Yes, now the concept of projecting the girl child is selling.

With a mega hit of a social topic i.e. promoting the role of the girl child in our society, many T.V. channels are into business. With a hit show ‘Balika Vadhu’ the T.V. channel ‘Colors’ has bagged sizeable TRP. Balika Vadhu is a hit these days because of the new concept. The punch for this daily is the hard hitting concept.

The twist in the whole scenario is the ‘Beti’. Now, the Saas and the Bahu have taken a backseat.

With most of the channels airing shows like this, to name a few Mere Ghar Ayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Na Aana Iss Des Meri Lado, Hamari Ladli Bebo etc. are grabbing a lot of attention and TRP as well.

Audiences love the new concept of daughter mania as they are obsessed with the Saas-Bahu deeds and are looking forward to new concepts. But, the question is how long this new fever will last.

Well a lot depends on the content of the show too. Hope, this Beti trend does not fade away like the Ba and Bahu soon!!
