AATISH KAPADIA and Jamnadas Majethia, known for making humorous television serials such as Khichdi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ek Packet Umeed, Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi ki Joint Family, will soon begin a new season of their hit serial Baa Bahoo aur Baby, which as before will air on Star Plus.

The first season of the show was a successful journey of three to four years, and garnered high TRP ratings. However, there was no news whether the serial would be resumed or not. The production house, Hats Off Production, has not commented on the launch of a second season, but speculation is rife that it might begin on August 23.

The show was a look at a middle-class joint family and its various experiences as it is led by the matriarch “Baa”. Though all characters are starkly different from each other, they like to share their joys with each other. The serial featured several memorable characters – Baa, who was played by Sarita Joshi, Motabhai, played by Rajeev Mehta and Gattu played by Deven Bhojani.
