Babla Mehta comes from a family who have no claims to musical heritage. But his love for music and his dedication made him what he is. Being a shy and reticent lad in school, he never sang on stage. But circumstances led him to prove his talents to the world. That was just the beginning of his successful career and he never looked back after that.
The most striking feature of Babla Mehta’s voice is the absolute similarity to the voice of Late Mukesh. This striking similarity made him popular with great personalities of the world of music. As a playback singer his flight took off with the song ‘Tere mere hothon pe’ along with Lataji in the movie Chandni.
