Apparently, Kamina boy Shahid Kapoor along with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi's bubbly chick Anushka Sharma have been casted in an upcoming Bollywood masala movie 'Badmaash Company' whose music has already topped the chart-busters.
APPARENTLY, KAMINEY boy Shahid Kapoor along with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi's bubbly chick Anushka Sharma have been casted in an upcoming Bollywood masala movie 'Badmaash Company'. The music of the film has already topped the charts. This much awaited Bollywood flick is all set to hit the theatres on May 7, this Friday.
This movie is a directorial-debut of actor turned director Parmeet Sethi under Yash Raj Banners.
Along with Shahid and Anushka, the movie has featured Chang, a known-face that was seen in one of the reality shows of Indian television named 'Indian Idol', two years back. Vir Das is doing comedy in the movie. It has all the hues and colours of drama, comedy, romance, adventure, con job and suspense. Badmaash Company is about four youngsters namely Karan (Shahid), Bulbul (Anushka), Zing (Chang) and Chandu (Vir), who come together to kick-start a new business with their larger than life approaches. They dare to enter the world of glitz and glamour where their own stakes is higher than gains. However , on their wild roller-coaster ride towards success, they make huge and quick money by doing all the wrong things....but in the right way and become undisputed kings in their business. They soon realize that to make good money only a big idea is required. All is hunky dory till the four entrepreneurs are forced to shut their business but they come up with yet another perfect plan to beat the system for the last time. Describing the film, Shahid said: "There are very interesting characters, extremely fresh dialogues, con jobs which I have not seen in any other film, but yet very easy to understand. It's not complicated at all. It's a fun film and there was no reason why I shouldn't be doing it."
He added, "we researched on the scenario of the 1990s and used them in the film. For example, we used clothes that were in fashion like high waisted jeans, simple t-shirts which used to be tucked in, the aviators, which were all in vogue.”
