Bajrang Dal national convener Parkash Sharma said that governor NN Vohra, who is the Chairman of SASB, would be asked to inugurate the Yatra. Around 20 thousand pilgrims will reach Jammu on July 25 and the inauguration of Yatra will be on July 26
BAJRANG DAL National Convener Parkash Sharma after visiting Mandi area of Poonch district has accused the state government for ignoring the development of Budha Amarnath shrine including basic amenities like bathing and accommodation. The visit comes of the annual Budha Amarnath Yatra commencing from July 25, the pilgrims from all over India, around 20 thousand will reach Jammu on July 25 and the inauguration of this Yatra will be on July 26, therafter the Yatra will leave the Jammu on the 27th, he added.

Sharma said that the governor NN Vohra, who is the Chairman of SASB, would be asked to inugurate the Yatra. He also asked the state government to make necessary arrangements, from Jammu to Mandi, for smooth conduct of Budha Amarnath Yatra.

Sharma said that despite the announcement of Rs 25 lakh made by Vohra for the development of Budha Amarnath shrine in Mandi area of Poonch district along with Shiv Khodi and Shadra Srif last year, the district administration had not taken any step in this direction so far as for as samiti has submitted the plan.

He said that second root should be opened so that the yatra will proceed smoothly and without any obstruction with one way traffic operation. He also demanded that Budha Amarnath Yatra should be linked with Shiv Khodi for the pilgrim’s benefit that comes from other parts of the country. There is no doubt that one day Poonch will also become another Katra in Jammu for this the participation of the people of Poonch is mandatory and government should observe holiday for three days so that the people will participate in Yatra.

Those who were present includes Nand Kishor Mishra (state convener), Danajay Pathak (provisional secretary), Hem Raj Khajuria (state genral secretary VHP) and SR Sharma (state office secretary VHP).
