Ban exploitation of kids in reality shows
The time has come to think how reality shows affect the mindset of the kids, not just those who have achieved some sort of acceptance but also the ones who aspire to follow their footsteps.

PRACTICALLY EVERY other TV channel has its more-than-fair share of reality shows on prime-time in which the kids rule supreme. These child stars play the major role and the producers rake in their profits by exploiting them.

Yes, they have talent, they can act, sing, dance, make others laugh and even co-host the shows with celebrities. But it is also a fact that they attain premature maturity.

The parents of the kids spend their hard earned savings to promote their kids in the hope that they can generate adequate returns to compensate the temporary loss. They take their kids through grooming schools that have sprung up like mushrooms across the country. These schools entice the parents with unbelievable offers and promise them the Moon.

The single point agenda of the parents is to let their kids get a toehold in the charming world of glamour. Unfortunately, many of these parents are disappointed and disillusionment sets in that destroys the domestic atmosphere.

They should ask themselves the basic question – is it really worth it? Clamouring for attention and cheap popularity in the immediate society spoils the education of the kids and most of them are left to repent. Their bloated egos leave them in despair.
