Ban on Pak artistes is justified and in India's interest
India is almost at war with rogue and terror nation Pakistan for the last four decades. First, it was in the Punjab and now it is in Kashmir and other parts of the nation. The nation has lost more than a lakh people in Pak sponsored terrorism.
Now, nationalist and patriotic people are doing a great service to the nation by opposing artistes from Pakistan. This is an excellent and moral boosting idea. We are a proudly secular, liberal, open and tolerant society and surely cannot allow the artistes from a nation where anti-Hindu and anti-India; fanatic and Jihadi jingoists rule the nation.

Artistes from Pakistan will bring such a hate and fanatic agenda from their nation and pollute the minds of the Indians, especially of Muslims, secularists and communists. A lively and creative energy have given the nation an industry that stands high in the world. We have to protect our film industry from such artistes who hate India. It is in the national interest.

The government must ban Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Pakistani Fawad Khan as Pakistan has already banned the Indian movies and Indian channels. It is deeply worrying that in India so far no such ban has been imposed and the pro-Pak lobby is hyperactive to kneel the Indian and state governments to artistes from an anti-Hindu and anti-India jingoist nation.

Raj Thackeray and his MNS have been doing the great national service and almost imposed an undeclared ban on the screening Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and have created a sense of fear in the mind of pro-Pak agents in Bollywood and elsewhere. The guilty producer has agreed to pay up Rs.5 crore each to the Indian army welfare fund as 'penance' for casting artistes from the rogue terror nation. Unfortunately, the Indian army and other nationalist people have not come openly in support of Raj Thackeray and his MNS.

Just as the India army has given a very befitting reply to Pakistan by surgical strikes, people of the nation should do another surgical strike by boycotting the Pak actors. Our secularism and tolerance need nationalism and patriotism. India must control and book the people who are creating sound and fury in support of Pak artistes.

The action against Pak artistes will be a good and big beginning. It will give confidence to our soldiers that nation is with them. We must respect the national sentiments and start behaving like a mature nation.

Banning Pak actors from working in India will give a tough message and serve a great purpose. It will motivate Indian soldiers on the battlefield to wipe out Pak sponsored terror and terrorists. For future also, it will develop a strong spirit to react strongly.

But the Maharashtra CM Shri Devendra Phadnavis has given a wrong message, to help broker a settlement between Raj Thackeray and film producers, to 'allow' the film to be screened. This pressure will isolate Pakistan and these artists will put pressure on Pakistan to shun fanaticism and terrorism.

This requires courage and good tactics. It will put India as a strong nation representing high moral position. The tough dealing with the Pakistan state to the people of Pakistan will carry a huge weight, and make India as a tough nation in the eyes of the international community.

The example of South Africa and apartheid is very appropriate here. The very powerful Great Britain was defeated as the state was identified with power elite which founded in its racial superiority. Here too the situation is also the same; the ordinary Pakistani is fully supportive and complicit in the state support to cross-border terrorism. Nobody from Pakistan, including Pakistani artists, condemned the killing of Indian soldiers at Uri and Pathankot by Pakistani terrorists.

Now, Indians must scrap the status of Pak, as the most favoured nation in India-Pakistan business. Actually, over the last decade, the trade between India and Pakistan has grown nearly eight times- from just $345 to $ 2.6 billion. More importantly, Indian export is four to five times more, Pakistan imports.

Now, Raj Thackeray, MNS and other nationalists groups take up cudgels against the status of Pakistan as a most favoured nation and trade. It's time politicians, especially secularists and communists show some concern for the lives of Indian soldiers and citizens. Now, the nation must be very tough with the pro-Pak elements in the country, working to protect the interest of Pak artists. So the beginning must be with Pakistani actors in Indian film. This cut will be the most deadly to protect the interest of the nation.
