BANK OF India, one of the top nationalised banks in India has announced vacancies for 2000 Probationary Officers (PO) across the country under the Recruitment Project 2010-11. Unlike other private banks, Bank of India attracts a larger chunk of applicants. The age criteria for applying for the post of PO is 21 years to 30 years.
The salary pay scale differs from 14500- 600/7 – 18700-700/2 – 20100-800/7-25700. Academically, the criteria for applying for the post of PO is that the candidate must be a graduate with minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate from any UGC recognised university.
The application fee for candidates is Rs 400 and it is non-refundable. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-service-men candidates are exempted from application fees. The last date for the submission of application forms is 31/08/2010. The important dates to be remembered are:Challan available from: 09th Aug, 2010 Submission of online application commencing from: 09-08-2010 Last Date for submission of application: 31st Aug, 2010 Payment of application fees from 09-08-2010 to 31st Aug, 2010. Tentative date of written examination: 31st Oct, 2010
