Barcelona vs Real Madrid Champions League semifinal second leg clash tonight
Barcelona and Real Madrid to play in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal this evening. In the last five CL games games, Barcelona has won four and lost one, whereas Real Madrid has won three, and lost and drawn one each.
IN THE second leg of the Champions League semifinal battle, two Spanish arch rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid will play at the Nou Camp on Tuesday May 3 this evening. Two of Europe’s biggest soccer rivals clashed on April 27 in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal, where Barcelona won by 2-0.

Last week on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Barcelona star Lionel Messi scored two goals for his club in the 76th and 87th minute of the game and Barcelona won by 2-0 against Real Madrid. Lionel Messi, who has scored 11 goals so far in the Champions League this season, needs one more goal to equal record of Ruud van Nistelrooy of 12 goals in a season of Champions League.

In the second leg of the Champions League semifinal this evening, injured Abidal and Andres Iniesta will likely to return to the Barcelona squad and for the Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho will be out of action following his dismissal last week.

Pep Guardiola, Barcelona's coach has lost just four of the 36 matches in the Champions League, whereas Barcelona has won its last nine Champions League games at home.

Barcelona has lost twice against Real Madrid in the last four of Europe's premier club competition in 1960 and 2002. This is the best time for Barcelona to break their semi-final jinx against Real Madrid by beating them for the first time in the semifinal of the Champions League.
