Beheading of Indian soldiers by Pakistan Army: Why top Indian leaders are quiet?
On May 1, Pakistan Army's BAT SSG commandos infiltrated 250 meters inside the Indian territory on the LoC, ambushed an Indian border patrol party and killed and beheaded Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh of 22 Sikh Regiment as also Head Constable Prem Sagar of the BSF.

Soldiers do get martyred in battlefield, but for the Indian Army, who has been fighting the Pakistani-sponsored proxy war since 1988, this is now happening every other day along the LoC in Kashmir.

However, beheading a soldier and mutilating his body is the worst kind of crime that any country or its army can commit. This truth is accepted world over. But, this is what the Pakistani Army has done. This requires intervention at the highest level in India. No less a person than Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and other top Indian leaders should have denounced this dastardly act of the Pakistan Army.

However, even after a week having passed, except for the Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, no other neta appears to have bothered. Part-time Defence Minister Arun Jaitley mentioned the issue in passing, otherwise, it was business as usual. Shockingly, this is happening at a time when the entire country is angry over the incident.

A soldier who fights for his country and sacrifices his life on the battlefield for a better tomorrow of his countrymen, takes motivation from its leaders and people. History is replete with examples where highly motivated armies of small countries have defeated much larger countries and their huge armies. Cases in point are Vietnam defeating super power America in the seventies and Israel running rings around 44 Muslim countries who have considered it as their enemy ever since its inception in 1948.

Pakistani Army has dared to indulge in this act of mutilation three times after the Kargil War because it very well knows that the Indian response would be weak. Had we acted strongly at the first such instance itself politically, diplomatically and militarily, they would not have dared to repeat it. It must be remembered that the Pakistani Army is a political army running a 20 billion dollar business in its own country. We have defeated them in all the four wars that they have fought against us. Their army will never muster the courage to attack us. Their fighting arm is their sponsored jehadis.

It is time for the top Indian leadership to introspect. Pakistan can be set right in no time if our political masters take advice from the army and not from their coterie of IAS and IPS officers who have no knowledge of military affairs. We cannot allow mutilation of our soldiers' bodies at the hands of the Pakistani Army anymore. This will demotivate the armed forces of the nation. It's time for Indian netas to wake up lest the Army also starts giving excuses for not fighting, which will be catastrophic.
