Believe it or not but this 18-year old girl has been eating nothing but Parle-G biscuits since birth
Human beings have well developed taste buds. We feel like eating and tasting different food items depending upon our mood. But this 18-year old girl is a rare exception as she has tasted nothing expect Parle-G biscuits since birth.

Ramawwa is the daughter of Yallapa and Yellawwa Guddadinni, who hail from Talakatnal village of Gokak taluk in Belagavi, Karnataka. She also has a twin brother. Both she and her brother were not breastfed by their mother. Since childhood she has been fed Parle-G buscuits mixed in cow's milk. She now eats six to seven packets of Perle-G everyday.

Her habit is highly unaffordable for her parents who are agricultural labourers. They can't even afford the medical treatment required for getting rid of this habit of hers.

Ramawwa's twin brother Ramappa was too fed on this mix of Parle-G biscuits and cow's milk as an infant, but gave up the habit as he grew up. However, Ramawwa stopped even drinking milk and took to just eating Parle-G biscuits.

Ramawwa said, "I don't feel like eating anything else. Eating four-five biscuits at a time is enough for me. Parle-G biscuits are everything for me. I don't know what will I do if the brand stops manufacturing them."

Her parents have tried hard to feed her with food many times, but all in vain. They say that what will happen after she gets married.

Just a few days ago the nearby Lake View Hospital started a research on Ramawwa. The hospital authorities also made several attempts to feed her normal food but were unsuccessful. Not only does she avoid food, but also refuses to switch to another brand of biscuits.

Dr Girish Sonwalkar from the hospital said that due to lack of nutrients in her diet, Ramawwa looks like a 10-12 year old girl, however, everything else is fine with her. Her knowledge is almost at par with other girls of her age. According to Dr Sonwalkar she needs medical counselling as she thinks that normal food might harm her. If she gets mentally prepared she will definitely adjust.
