As the brown rice is rich in fiber and antioxidants, diabetic patients can also eat it. Brown rice provides calories at a lower pace than the white rice, it also gives you a feeling of fullness because of the high fiber content.
Changing to brown rice all of a sudden is not advisable, so first try to incorporate half portion of brown rice with half portion of white rice and slowly accommodate it in your daily diet. Apart from eating brown rice in your main meal, try to eat brown bread as a snack.
While purchasing a pack of brown bread always check the ingredients and buy the bread with whole grain and whole wheat.
