Benefits of consuming tea are many
Drinking tea has its own share of health benefits and here are some of the best benefits one can get from a cuppa of tea.

TEA LEAVES are rich in manganese and potassium and may provide upto 45% of the recommended daily requirements. Blood cholesterol, pressure and clotting all related to coronary functions and disease-decrease with increase in tea consumption.

Tea is rich in vitamin C and E. Two cups of green tea is as richer in nutrition as a cup of orange juice.

Beta- carotene is also found in green tea and provides the same antioxidant effect such as in Broccoli, spinach and tomatoes.

Tea has a caffeine content of 50mg per cup compared to free flavor caffeine content of 110mg. Like coffee, tea too is a natural diuretic.

Green tea contains natural bio-flavonoid that increases endorphin levels, which in turn, reduce pain and anxiety.

Black tea greatly reduces the incidence of cancer of digestive tract, lungs, urinary tract and skin.

White tea is very rare, derived from buds of the tea plant. It helps in protecting DNA, which in essence fights cancer.

Tea is also a natural source of fluoride, prevents tooth decay and gum diseases. Each cup of tea can provide 0.1mg fluoride.
