THE BENTLEY Continental Flying Spur Speed was launched in India on July 14. The car comes with a 6.0lt W12 engine that can deliver horsepower of 600bhp. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox that enables the car to get to the top speed of 322km/hr and can accelerate from 0-100km in just 4.8 seconds. The Bentley comes in exuberant style with a bright chromed grille and rides on Pirelli PZero tyres fitted with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels in bright silver or darkened tungsten.
The big and luxurious interior of the super sedan has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Naim 1100W custom-made audio unit. Piano black and dark stained burr walnut veneers, diamond-quilted leather to seat facings and doors, headrests with an embroidered Bentley logo and “speed” treadplates to all the doors come as optional features, but without additional cost.
This supercar is a four-door variant of the Bentley Continental GT Speed. The car also has a self-adjusting air suspension with thicker front and rear stabiliser bars and comes with the revised servotronic steering system of the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. The Speed’s radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control has also been renovated with follow-to-stop precision and five time-gap settings. Bentley is expecting to sell ten units every month of the Continental Flying Spur Speed. Currently, there are four variants of Bentley cars available in the Indian market.
