BES expo or Broadcast Engineering Society expo 2010 is starting from today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This year theme of the three days long expo is Terrestrial & Satellite Broadcasting. BES 2010 is organising by Broadcast Engineering Society.

Manufacturers, dealers, distributors and suppliers of products, equipment, systems and services related to terrestrial & satellite broadcasting for Radio and TV as well as studio, post-production, analog as well as digital are participating in BES expo 2010.

BES expo 2010 is expected to be visited by over 4,000 engineers, managers, cinematographers, consultants, entrepreneurs and policy and decision-makers from Radio and TV broadcasting organisations as well as studio and post-production units in India, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Visit to the exhibition by delegates attending the conference has always been a key feature of the exhibition.

The Entertainment & Media sector in India has been growing at a steady 19% annually. Total entertainment & media sector in India is expected to grow from Rs 513 billion (US$ 12.8 billion) in 2007 to Rs 1157 billion (US$ 28.9 billion) in 2012.
