Best content oriented Bollywood films of 2015
The year 2015 was a decent year for Bollywood as it has given us some great stories and exceptional content-oriented films, set aside Dilwale and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP).

As the year has come to an end, we are bringing you the list of top five movies of 2015. There are several lists circulating on the internet, but our favorite list is based on content quality of the films, not the box office collection. Let's have a look:

Bajirao Mastani

Magnificent, bonafide set, royal costumes and ultra ornate look in the backdrop of highborn drama, 'Bajirao Mastani' is a delightful experience with climax reminiscent of an Opera. Bollywood hardly comes up with a film that is 'larger than life' these days, but one can count 'Bajirao Mastani' among few such exceptions. The magnum opus is based upon a classic subject of history; a married Brahmin warrior deeply in love with a half Muslim princess-cum-dancer, Mastani. The film is an interesting watch with unpredictable plot.

Piku

Piku has been critically acclaimed globally and was helmed by Shoojit Sircar and top lined by actors Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. Its success at international festivals is an evidence of the film's universal connect. A quirky yet heart warming tale of father-daughter relationship, the film won millions of heart. The fine line between 'frivolousness' and 'finesse' is worked out well in the film.

Bahubali

After an extended three years of pre-production, shooting and post production wait, the epic "Bahubali" was finally released in 2015. Undoubtedly, Rajamouli and his team have done a tremendous job and given a wonderful piece. The most expensive film of all time, is based on a war drama that revolves around the intense strife amid two brothers. Featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, 'Bahubali' offers many breathtaking sequences. It is worth watching.

Titli

Unlike typical Bollywood masala, Titli is a hard-hitting family drama that is enough to give you goosebumps as the story unfolds on the silver screen. The film is written and directed by Kanu Behl, co-produced by Dibakar Banerjee Productions and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Kanu Behl, the debut director of the film deserves all the praise for this compelling tale of a dysfunctional family in the best way possible. The film revolves around three brothers who are involved in a carjacking business in the reckless badlands of Delhi. The youngest of the brothers is Titli, who is craving for freedom from the family business.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Salman Khan has been including social messages in his movies, starting with 'Jai Ho', where he portrayed the 'Aam Aadmi', and later in 'Kick', where he took up the cause of raising money for sick children. In Bajrangi Bhaijaan he advocated religious tolerance and secularism.
