With a show hosted by Betty White and featuring musical guest Jay-Z, last night’s Saturday Night Live, was considered as the most consistently funny episodes of the season. Jay-Z first performed a medley of his hit songs and eventually was joined by Bridget Kelly for “Empire State of Mind”. Former SNL stars Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey gave Betty White a posse that formed the core of several sketches, including one in which White played the blunt-talking Grandma in a 1904 family parlor scene.

The Betty White hosted Saturday Night Live episode on Saturday, May 8, has scored its highest metered-market household rating in a year and a half, since the pre-election telecast of November 2008. Veteran TV actress Betty White will the guest star of ABC's The Middle as a mad librarian of the finale on the May 19.
