Betty White to host SNL, Saturday Night live
Betty White will host Saturday Night Live from May onwards, taking the helm of the popular late night show from May 8. The actress who was last seen in the Super Bowl commericial, Snickers commercial.
ITS CONFIRMED! Betty White will host Saturday Night Live from May onwards, taking the helm of the popular late night show from May 8 - Mothers Day. The actress who was last seen in the Super Bowl commericial, Snickers commercial, has been ushered into the show after fans launched a Facebook campaign - Get Betty White on Saturday Night Live, or SNL.
SNL executive producer Lorne Michaels admitted that he always wanted Betty White on the Saturday Night Live.
Meanwhile, Betty White said, "Years ago, I turned it down three times. It's so New York, and I'm not New York at all. But my agent said he'd divorce me if I didn't do it and I love my agent."
The Betty White Super Bowl commercial for Snickers, was one appearence that wowed audiences all over. It led to the Facebook campaign to get her on SNL. Betty White is excited about the show. She said,"It's lovely and at my age it's certainly unexpected. I've got so much energy, it's ridiculous. I love working. My schedule is a feverish one, and I'm used to that."
