Beyonce sets Twitter record with her baby news
Beyonce Knowles is making headlines one after the another. Initially, it was the MTV Night where she almost shouted out that she is an expectant mother and now the new Twitter record. Looks like the baby is bringing in a lot of luck for the mother.
AFTER SHE stole the show at the MTV Music Video Awards, the destiny Child singer made headlines with a new Twitter record that she made. On Sunday night, after the dazzling performance by the Queen of Pops, the social networking site was buzzing with 8,868 Beyonce tweets per second. Twitter said that the number of tweets per second was first time for the social networking site.

The act that led to the frenzy in the Twitter world was when the pop singer, after her power packed performance in the award show, went ahead to fling aside her purple sequenced jacket and rub her baby bump. She was truly happy and the happiness was reflected on the face of Jay Z.

Beyonce, who is married to Jay Z, was never clear about when she would start a family but recently, in on Piers Morgon chat show, she did say that she always thought that she would get a baby by 30 and now she is 29. People were speculating about her words that could possibly mean that she is in the family way but when she walked the red carpet in the orange gown and clutched her stomach in a tell all way, it was confirmed.

The previous Twitter record for the maximum number of tweets per second was held during the Women’s football World Cup final earlier this year, between Japan and America. The match, which had a phenomenal and surprising ending, set up a record of 7,196 tweets per second.
