TO PROTEST against the increase in fuel price, the leading opposition party in Tamil Nadu AIADMK along with other non-UPA parties have called for a nation wide general strike on July 5.

The Left parties too have called for called for national wide “ Bharat Bandh ” on the same day to register their protest against the anti-people move by the UPA government. The parties which are protesting against the fuel price hike as well as essential commodities are AIADMK , Left Parties , Telgu Desam party , Biju Janta Dal , Janta Dal , Samajwadi Party and Indian National Lok Dal.

This nation wide bandh “ Bharat Bandh ” will start from from 6 am and will end at 6 pm from dawn to dusk .These parties are also protesting against the inflation rate which is going up and up with out any control by present govt and crossing double digits. They have also demanded a rollback in the prices of fuels as this has an adverse affect on the people.

In Tamil Nadu Opposition party Leader AIADMK Chief J.Jayalalithaa, MDMK Genaral Secretary Vaiko , CPI(M) state secretary G.RadhaKrishnan, CPI State Secretary D.Pandian have joined hands to for the national wide bandh. These parties have also criticised the DMK government in Tamil Nadu for failing to uphold the cause of poor people.

The government already knew that poeple of the country will be upset due to the fuel price hike. Again just showing the protest can not help out in any way. It is necessary for every indivadual to know the reason for price hike and the ways by which everyone can contribute to reduce it or may be its time to get into alternatives!!!!!!!!!!!!
